UEL Habitat Rainforest

The rainforest Habitat is a mini zoo located at Unitech (Taraka) Campus, that has a good selection of native animals, overgrown trees with lianas and ferns on the forest floor, beautiful BBQ and or picnic area inside the habitat and very quiet and attractive native vegetation.

UNITECH Development and Consultancy Ltd (UDC) is a private Company of the University of Technology approved by the University Council in 1987. The company is limited by guarantee, duly registered under the PNG Company’s Act Register No. C11915 UDC is managed by the Board of Directors elected from the University Council. The Boards Directives are implemented through the executive manager down through to the managers in the various commercial units. A subsidiary company called UDC Architects Pty Ltd incorporated in 1994, has been operating very successfully.

UEL Catering Services is staffed by well experienced chef and kitchen staff (70) who have a combined experience of well over 100 years, spanning careers in the resources project sites and the hospitality industry.The UEL Catering currently serves 6,000 meals a day, that is breakfast, lunch and dinner to the Unitech Students.
