About Mr. David Masani

From Morobe Patrol Post, Morobe Province, a Geologist by training, Mr. David Masani is a seasoned business executive having spend over 30 years in mineral resource sector. Mr. Masani currently works as the Principal Community Engagement Advisor for Wafi-Golpu Joint Venture Project. He is also a Member of Papua New Guinea University of Technology Governing Council and member of Board of Unitech ATCDI.

About Dr. Lemas Pangum

Dr. Lemas Pangum is a metallurgist with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, holding degrees from various universities, including a Ph.D. in Mining and Mineral Technology from the University of Queensland, Australia. He has taught Mineral Process Engineering at Unitech and served as a Technical Advisor/Consultant for the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority of PNG since 2014, offering expertise in environmental regulation for the mining industry.

Dr. Pangum is also a private businessman, focusing on developing low-cost family residential units and single rooms in Port Moresby for middle-class income earners. His professional background, including roles as a senior manager at Ok Tedi Mine and managing his own business, has given him a strong understanding of governance, business finance, investment, and regulatory compliance, working closely with accountants and tax advisors to ensure compliance with IRC and IPA requirements while preparing financial reports and meeting monthly compliance obligations.
